"Reality Check" is the second episode of Season 1 of Disney Channel's The Lodge. It was written by Lee Walters and directed by Matt Bloom. It is the second episode of the series overall and premiered on september 30, 2016 in the UK.
Synopsis[]
In this episode, Skye is offered the role on My Amazing Life, which makes Danielle jealous of her as she's stolen her show, and she thinks that Skye is going to steal Sean now.
Skye, Kaylee, Noah and Ben give the Lodge a makeover which includes new furniture, a paint job, and a new colour scheme. Danielle starts to believe that there is something going on between Skye and Sean, so she makes Sean promise that he won't speak to Skye. Skye is offered the season on the show 'My Amazing Life' after they initially turned up to film Danielle, making Danielle believe Skye had stolen it from her. Skye accepts the offer and uses this to promote the Lodge. Skye pays a visit to the lodge where he and Skye hangout. Daniele turns up raging because Skye was given the show instead of her and because her boyfriend, Sean, had lied to her. To get Danielle off Skye's back, Ben lies and says that he and Skye are dating, Danielle forces him to kiss her to prove it, which he does. Skye asks Kaylee to perform for the entertainment that night, and Danielle, who was raving with jealousy, tried to convince her that Skye was only using her for publicity. Kaylee ignored her and as the performance starts the power goes out, so Noah and Lori go down to turn it back on. Danielle complains to Kaylee about how the whole thing was staged by Skye (Which it wasn't) to gain views. Skye talks to Kaylee and manages to convince her to sing acoustic with Skye. After the acoustic performance, Sean tells Skye that she shouldn't be using his best friend, Ben. Skye expresses her anger in a voicemail to him telling Sean that he needs to mind his own business. At the end of the episode, Noah confesses his feelings for Kaylee, but the footage is seen by Lori, who then deletes it.
